In accordance with 36 CFR 13.1160(b), the Superintendent of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve proposes that the 2009 Glacier Bay cruise ship day use quota remains unchanged from that of the 2007 and 2008 levels. Currently the June, July and August summer seasonal quota is 153 use days. The May and September shoulder season quota is 92 use days.
The NPS is soliciting comment on the proposed 2009 quota. Comments may be submitted until close of business, October 20, 2008.
