The National Park Service has completed a project to replace the septic tank and upgrade the leach field at the Yukon - Charlie Rivers National Preserve, Eagle Visitor Center (field office) in Eagle, Alaska; phone 907-547-2233. An Assessment of Effect was approved 6/1/08 to comply with NHPA section 106; it determined "No Historic Properties Affected." A Categorical Exclusion was approved 6/8/08 to comply with NEPA (C.8. "Replacement in-kind of minor structures and facilities with little or no change in location, capacity or appearance."). The project was completed 8/5/2008.
