Programmatic Commercial Use Authorizaton for Chain Installation and Sales

The issuance of this Commercial Use Authorization (CUA, prevously titled Incidental Business Permit)is to regulate and oversee the commercial operations involved in installing/removing and or selling tire traction devices on private and commercial vehicles within the jurisdiction of Yosemite National Park. This authorization will be reviewed in 5 years pending no changes to this Commercial Use Authorization. If changes are to be made then at that time a new authorization will be completed and approved. The permitted activities are designated to occur in paved chain control turnouts along the El Portal Road,Wawona Road, Big Oak Flat Road, Badger Pass/Glacier Point Road and Valley Loop Roads. Chain installation/removal activities may take place within the Concessioner's land assignment parking areas only if requested by the Concessioner.
