Dear Friend of Padre Island National Seashore:
The National Park Service (NPS) is asking for your comments on a proposed 50-foot communication tower to be located at the Houston Pipeline Six Pigs Facility within Padre Island National Seashore. The proposed tower would be located three miles south of Park Road 22 and approximately one mile west of the Gulf beach, near the center of the island. An Environmental Assessment (EA) analyzing the impacts of this proposed action has been developed by the NPS and is located on this planning website.
If you wish to comment on this document, comments posted online are preferred, or you may mail comments to the name and address below or hand-deliver them to Park Headquarters, 20301 Park Road 22, Corpus Christi, Texas 78418. Comments must be received by close of business on January 15, 2008 to be accepted. If you are unable to obtain a digital copy of these documents or would like to receive a printed copy, please notify us at the phone number listed below.
