MODIFICATION TO VISITOR CENTER
Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site Superintendent Laura Rotegard announced Friday, October 13, 2006, that the park is proposing to modify the park's Visitor Center, through adding additional interior work space and exterior decking. This action opens a 15 day public scoping period and requests your input and comments on this decision. Written comments need to be received by NLT October 30, and can be directed to:

An Environmental Assessment (EA) will follow and be available for public review and comment in late October, 2006. Copies of the EA may be obtained by contacting the park at 406.846.2070, by going to the park website at www.nps.gov/grko, or by writing the park at 266 Warren Lane, Deer Lodge, Montana 59722. Consultation with the State Historic Preservation Office, under Section 106 has begun, and comments will be included in the Environmental Assessment.
