Painting Historic Structures as part of LRF

As part of the project Legacy Restoration Fund N145, Preserve Historic Structures at Hampton National Historic Site (HAMP), painting will occur on the interior and exterior of seventeen historic structures. The paint colors are based on the 2024 Hampton National Historic Site Historic Finishes Investigation and Analysis by Building Conservation Associates and will reflect the historically accurate colors as determined through both field and lab microscopy. The goal of this painting project is to protect the building elements from deterioration, preserve the historic structures, and restore the paint colors used on the structures to a historically accurate condition.
