The National Park Service (NPS) is opening a public comment period to discuss future ideas as part of a planning effort for the NPS-managed sites on Ford Island. The public comment period will be open from September 4 - October 4, 2025.
The Ford Island National Park Service Sites Management Plan will guide decisions related to historic preservation, infrastructure, public use and access, interpretation, transportation, and partnerships. This is the first management plan developed for the Ford Island sites, fulfilling long-standing legislative and regulatory mandates.
Pearl Harbor National Memorial is hosting an in-person open house at the park and two virtual sessions. The NPS will share materials, progress made to date, and seek your feedback during that time.
