Isle Royale National Park is proposing to change Ranger III fares for the 2023 sailing season. Ranger III is the National Park Service's ferry to and from Isle Royale. The fares have not changed since 2018. Park managers are seeking feedback from the public on the proposed new passenger and freight fares before a final decision is made.

The proposed changes include:

· One-Way Adult Fare: $80 (up from $70 in 2022)

· One-Way Child Fare (Age 1 - 15): $40 (up from $35 in 2022)

· One-Way Infant (Under 1): Free

· One-Way Boat (less than 18'01") Fare: $125 (up from $100 in 2022)

· One-Way Boat (18'01" - 20'00") Fare: $200 (up from $150 in 2022)

· Disabled Boat (20'01" - 24'00") Fare: $400 (up from $350 in 2022)

· One-Way Canoe/Kayak (Hand-loaded) Fare: $40 (up from $30 in 2022)

· One-Way Canoe/Kayak (Oversized) Fare: $80 (up from $60 in 2022)

· Outboard Motor/Bicycle Fare: $20 (up from $15 prior to 2022)

· Keweenaw Waterway Cruise Adult Fare: $36 (up from $30 in 2022)

· Keweenaw Waterway Cruise Child Fare (Age 1 - 15): $18 (up from $15 in 2022)

· Keweenaw Waterway Cruise Infant (Under 1): Free

· Additional Freight, First 100 lbs free - Additional 100 lbs costs: $12.00/100 wt. (up from $9.50/100 wt. in 2022)
