The management staff at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (NRA) is proposing to develop an Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP) for Glen Canyon NRA and Rainbow Bridge National Monument (NM). The plan will focus on identification and treatment options for a variety of terrestrial and aquatic pest species. These may include nuisance insects/spiders (scorpions, black widows, bees) in housing and camping areas, dermestids in museum collections, and exotic plants and animals throughout the parks. An Environmental Assessment/Assessment of Effect will be developed concurrently with the IPMP.
