The Uplake Development Concept Plan(DCP)/ Environmental Assessment (EA)is a plan and NEPA compliance document for Bullfrog, Halls Crossing and Hite development districts at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (NRA). The National Park Service uses DCPs to plan future facilities necessary to meet the park objectives while ensuring the protection of resources, park values, and recreation opportunities consistent with the park's enabling legislation, purpose, mission, and goals. The FONSI and the EA are part of the NEPA compliance process and include public involvement to evaluate impacts to the natural and cultural environment. This final plan will guide development for approximately 15 to 20 years in the uplake development districts of Glen Canyon NRA.
