Chiricahua National Monument » Treat Arizona cypress for bark beetle infestation » Document List

This project is of small scale. It plans to halt the mortality of Arizona cypress trees in a few important visitor areas by removing infected trees (up to 20) and spraying of noninfected trees (up to 50). Tree removal (sanitation) will be done by park staff in the fall-winter of 2005-06 and spraying done by contract in the spring of 2006.
