The Natchez Trace Parkway proposed to remove the 80 foot, 15,000 gallon steel gravity water tank located at the maintenance area complex at the Meriwether Lewis site in Tennessee. The tank was constructed in 1936 with Pubic Works Administration funds. There are five additional structures within the maintenance complex: utility building (1935), pump hyouse (1935), maintenance building (1960), maintenance shed (1960), and a portable hazmat building (2007).
