Horseshoe Bend National Military Park » Replace Existing Maintenance Facility @ HOBE » Document List

This project will replace the existing Maintenance Facility to address employee health and safety concerns due to the number of systems failures and with the building structural integrity. The main failures are with the foundation, electrical system, heating system and septic system. The incorporation of the sign shed, tractor pole shed and material storage shed structures into a single maintenance complex provides a safe and single work area for maintenance operations which meet all current building codes and safety regulations. The installation of a packaged sewer system to meet environmental requirements to sustain maintenance operations and a fenced maintenance yard for the security of the building, equipment and relocated fuel system will be included with this project. This project will combine four current maintenance support buildings into one maintenance complex to improve the efficiency and security of maintenance operations and provide safe conditions for work activities at the park. The total square footage of all buildings being replaced is 4,768. The square footage of the new building is estimated at 6,800. The increase is due to Law Enforcement and Resource Management operations and equipment being included within the facility. All construction will follow sustainability practices and ADA compliance.Project will be design build.
