Reduction of Exotic Plant Species

Horseshoe Bend National Military Park » Reduction of Exotic Plant Species » Document List

Using Regular Cyclic Maintenance Funding, Horseshoe Bend National Military Park will reduce exotic plant species - primarily Chinese privet and Japanese mimosa - from visitor areas around the park. The invasives have taken over 40% of the park terrain and are forcing out native Alabama plant species.
