The National Park Service (NPS) proposes to allow new construction on the High Point reserved estate at Cumberland Island National Seashore. Located within the High Point Compound area of the High Point - Half Moon Bluff National Register Historic District, the project involves construction of a new residential building on the site of a demolished historic structure, as well as installation of two new septic systems. The project would be carried out by High Point, Ltd, which holds the reserved life-estate agreement with the NPS for use and occupancy of the compound.
