Wawona Residence 4190 Water Line Installation

Yosemite National Park » Wawona Residence 4190 Water Line Installation » Document List

The goal of this project is to connect Residence 4190, currently being renovated for full accessibility, to the Wawona NPS water system. This house is a relatively new NPS acquisition and was previously supplied water from a non- NPS water system. The project involves trenching approximately 150 feet from an existing NPS water meter box to the residence. The trench will be approximately 18 inches deep and 12 inches wide. A 3/4" high density polyethylene water pipe will be installed in the trench and will link the NPS water system and the residence plumbing. The trench will be backfilled with the previously excavated soil & compacted. Park archeology and vegetation and restoration staff have been contacted about this upcoming project.
