Curry Village, Install Temporary Huff Employee Common Area

The purpose of this project is to provide a designated out door area for Huff Housing residents to socialize and prepare communal meals. The requested area is approximately 20' X 40' and extends from the Curry Village community center (please see attached site map as reference). This area is in the vicinity of the ice rink/raft rental, and is not utilized for housing, raft, or ice rink operations at this time. The area will have 2-BBQs (charcoal), 4 picnic tables, 2- shade structures (8'X8' green or brown temporary pop-up canvases), exterior lighting, 2-bear proof trashcan, 2-bear proof recycling cans, native wood chip flooring, and a cedar grape stake privacy fence. The community center will provide restroom and hand washing facilities. This proposed common area is temporary and could be easily removed if deemed appropriate at a later date.
