Y4-0604, Curry Village - Repair Roof Damage to Cooks WOB #8

Repair damage sustained at DNC employee quarters (Curry Village Cooks WOB #8. Damage to this roof was noticed on Friday, 3/17/2006. We believe that a bear tore the existing roofing material from the structure in an effort to gain entry to the building. This building is managed by the park concessioner, Delaware North Parks and Resorts at Yosemite. DNC will replace materials in kind to accomplish this emergency repair. Winter weather is forecast to begin today, thus timing is critical to complete the repair to allow the resident to occupy the structure and to prevent further damage to the structure and resident's personal property.
