The National Park Service has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) document for the rehabilitation of the Marine Corps War Memorial. Through the preparation of this EA, the NPS and park staff consider potential environmental effects caused by management actions.
NPS and George Washington Memorial Parkway policies, as well as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other related requirements guide the EA. The process must also address concerns voiced by the public and other agencies.
