The National Park Service, Ozark National Scenic Riverways, seeks public comment from August 12, 2005 through September 12, 2005 on a proposed replacement of the Akers ranger station. The project area is located at the Akers Ferry area of the upper Current River, near the junction of State Highways K and KK.
