Dear Interested Party,

Minuteman Missile National Historic Site's General Management Plan was finalized July of 2009. We are now progressing through our planning stages, developing more specific plans for operation and maintenance of the sites. Enclosed you will find a copy of the Historic Structure Report, Cultural Landscape Report, and Environmental Assessment for your office to review and comment. This document provides for the long term maintenance and upkeep of the sites that comprise Minuteman Missile National Historic Site.

Public participation in park planning as been crucial to the successful development of documents in the National Park Service. Your participation in Minuteman Missile National Historic Site's Historic Structure Report, Cultural Landscape Report, and Environmental Assessment continues to be very important during this review period. Therefore, we ask for your thoughtful evaluation and comment. Your input will be carefully reviewed and incorporated as applicable before finalizing the plan.

Public comments will be accepted for 30 days - from June 18, 2010 to July 19, 2010. You may submit comments electronically via the NPS Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) site at http://parkplanning.nps.gov/publicHome.cfm and then select Minuteman Missile National Historic Site in the "Choose a park" pull-down menu.

We thank you in advance for your attention and we appreciate your concern for the future of Minuteman Missile National Historic Site.

Sincerely,

Ruben Andrade
Superintendent
