Charter vessel use levels in Glacier Bay in May and September (the "shoulder season") have increased significantly over the past 3 years. The National Park Service is considering various options to address changes in shoulder season vessel use. Public scoping from March through June 2009 identified issues and potential actions that will be analyzed in an environmental assessment to be developed over the next few months.
