This project will consist of repairing and painting all 2,187 SF of the Arnold House, including all windows, doors, trim, soffit, fascia, downspouts, decking and siding. Damaged areas will be repaired as necessary to prevent further damage. This building serves as one of the park's museum exhibits that is open for the public. It is also the staging area during cold/inclement weather for visitor's to the park that will be going through the Lincoln Home. The appearance of this building is critical to maintain a desired visitor experience. In addition, scheduled exterior painting is critical to maintain the exterior envelope of this structure. Exterior painting should be completed every five to seven years. This structure was last painted in 2017, so it is past its cyclic schedule of 5-7 years.
