This project will consist of repairing and painting 4,461 SF of exterior surface area on the historic Beedle House. This building was last painted in fiscal year 2016 and is past its life cycle to be painted. Surfaces to be painted include: 2 doors with trim, siding, facia, soffit, all molding and brackets, 204 feet of guttering, 94 feet of downspout and 230 square feet of porches. Repairs will be made as needed to the exterior of the structure. In addition, all 18 windows will be evaluated and re-glazed as needed, as well as any additional repairs to sashes, etc. All 18 windows will be painted. All surfaces to be painted will be prepared for painting by sanding and scraping. A primer coat will be put on any repaired spots, and two finish coats of exterior latex paint will be applied by brushwork to the entire structure.
