This project will first consist of repair and tuck-pointing of the brick foundation and surface of the North porch at the Education Center. This porch is 15' long and 4' wide. Next, this project will correct the problems with the retaining wall on the West side of the Education Center. The retaining wall has three distinct sections: North, center, and South, and each has mortar that is crumbled and loose. The north and south sections need to be tuck-pointed. The center section, which is the largest of the three sections, appears to have issues with the footings. The wall is heaved upward and bowing outward and is cracked from top to bottom, including part of the limestone cap. The entire retaining wall, including two stairways, is approximately 36" high by 50' long. Finally, this project will complete the removal of 88 feet of wooden walkway east of the south porch and replace it with brick pavers over a concrete base to match the brick walkway on the west end of the south porch and the front entryway.
