The National Park Service is seeking public comment on the removal of a foot bridge which crossed the Gallatin River on the Bighorn Pass Trail. The bridge was removed in 2014 due to unsafe conditions and to date has not been replaced. The bridge was popular with some users and provided quick access across the Gallatin River year round. The river can be forded most of the year and there are other options for accessing the Bighorn Pass Trail that do not involve fording during high water.

Yellowstone National Park staff are interested in your feedback on the options presented and any additional concerns or issues you may have.
