Replace Entry and Backyard Boardwalks to All Structures-South Half of Park

Lincoln Home National Historic Site » Replace Entry and Backyard Boardwalks to All Structures-South Half of Park » Document List

This project will consist of replacing all boardwalks leading up to the Arnold House (HS-20), Cook House (HS-19), Robinson House (HS-10), Shutt House (HS-17), Dubois House (HS-15), Miller House (HS-14), Sprigg House (HS-11), and Corneau House (HS-02). Rough sawn oak planking, nailers, and runners are part of the walkway design and need to be replaced on all entry walkways leading up to the aforementioned houses. These walkways are used by nearly 400,000 annual visitors, workers employed in the downtown area, and park staff and are therefore extremely critical to the park. There is a total of approximately 1075 LF of boardwalks, all of which are approximately 4 feet wide, that need replacing.
