A categorical exclusion for the Commercial Use Authorization Plan (CUA) was signed on April 25, 2013. The purpose of the plan was to analyze impacts associated with the implementation of the park's recently developed CUA Plan and improve the CUA program's consistency with the laws, policies, and guidelines that govern CUAs.
The Draft CUA Plan and Draft Operating Plan was released for public review from February 28, 2013 through March 31, 2012. During this period the NPS received 25 comments.
