On January 8th, 2009, a localized fire damaged the south wall of the non historic storage addition. Funding of this project would allow demolition and removal of 900 square feet of the non-historic,fire damaged unit.

Demolition of this addition would bring the south facing side of the Frisco Station back to the 1948 footprint, based on historic photographs.
