Two bridges are located along the Hoh Road, which provides acess to the Hoh Rain Forest, one bridge is on the Camp David Jr. Road along the north shore of Lake Crescent, and one is on the Rialto Beach Road.
At Snider Creek Bridge on Route 107, Hoh Road, work will include resetting of elastomeric bearing pads, cleaning of joints in concrete, application of a joint sealant and installation of guard rail across the bridge on both sides of the road.
At Cobb Creek Bridge on Route 107, Hoh Road, the project will replace metal covers on two grate sections, replace missing nuts on deck hold down bolts, resetting of elastomeric bearing pads, cleaning of joints in concrete, application of a joint sealant, installation of guard rail on the upstream side of the bridge and replacement of guard rail on the downstream side of the bridge.
Work on the Small Creek Bridge on Camp David Jr. Road at Lake Crescent will include cleaning and painting of all steel, construction of abutment and end wall on both ends of the bridge, asphalt paving of approximately 50 feet of the approach on each side of the bridge and placement of riprap at abutments and along stream channel slopes to stabilize/protect embankments.
At the Mora Dickey River Bridge on Route 115, Rialto Beach Road, crews will seal the top of deck with gravity seal to prevent migration of water through deck, replace deteriorated sidewalk/curb joint filler material and repair undermining of backwalls.
At the Kestner Homestead Bridge work will include cleaning and painting of all structural steel members, installation of end walls on both ends of the bridge and asphalt paving of the approach from the North Shore Road to the bridge extending approximately 25 feet on the Homestead side of the bridge.
