Small-to-medium sized shapeable bushes, like boxwoods, will be planted on the eastern side of the East Alley near the B-2 building and the exit from the Lincoln Home backyard. The bushes will serve as a directional aide to visitors coming out of the backyard by creating a literal stopgap that will encourage them to stay on the alley. Boxwoods or a type of bush that can be pruned will be used to maintain a neat appearance. Mulch will be spread around the bases of the bushes to match other planting beds in the lots.
