The Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) has completed the environmental review process for the PG&E Jefferson – Martin 230kV Transmission Line Project and Settlement Agreement. An environmental assessment (EA) was completed and distributed for public review in May 2005. Through environmental analysis and interagency review, the GGNRA has determined that the proposed alternatives in the EA will not significantly affect the environment and has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the project.
