We Welcome Your Ideas and Comments:

Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park is beginning work on a new General Management Plan (GMP). A GMP is the roadmap that lays out a vision for where the park wants to be and provide directions for getting there over the next 20 years. Your ideas and suggestions will help us to create that vision for what kind of place we want Paterson Great Falls to be in the future. Along the way, there will be many opportunities for you to make your voice heard.

Please review the newsletter and feel free to comment on anything you read in it. In particular, please take note of the Topic Questions we have identified and address them individually.

Topic Questions:

1. What is most special to you about the Great Falls and surrounding historic buildings?

2. What are the resources that you feel have the ability to best tell the story of Paterson’s heritage?

3. What types of activities, programs and facilities do you think should be available?

4. What problems need to be solved at the park to gain your support and use?

5. How should NPS and other partners best protect and preserve this special place?
