World War I Memorial Environmental Assessment

The National Park Service (NPS), National Mall and Memorial Parks (NAMA) is releasing for public review and comment the Environmental Assessment (EA) and the Assessment of Effects (AOE) for the proposed World War I Memorial. The site of the memorial is bound by Pennsylvania Avenue NW to the north and south, 14th Street NW to the east, and 15th Street NW to the west. The purpose of the World War I Memorial is to further honor the service members of the U.S. Armed Forces in World War I by enhancing the General John J.
