Honouliuli Gulch and Associated Sites Final Special Resource Study and Environmental Assessment

This is the final study. It was transmitted to Congress in August 2015.

The Honouliuli Gulch and Associated Sites Final Special Resource Study and Environmental Assessment evaluates the Honouliuli Internment Camp and associated World War II internment sites in Hawai'i for national significance, suitability, and feasibility for inclusion in the National Park System. Congress authorized this study in 2009, and the public was invited in 2011 and 2014 to engage in the study process.

This study provides information to aid Congress, the U.S. Department of Interior, and the National Park Service in determining whether designation of a unit of the national park system is desirable and appropriate.
