MACA Public Scoping Briefing Paper and Public Meeting Posters


The National Park Service (NPS) is beginning the initial steps in development of a cave and karst management plan and environmental assessment (plan/EA) for Mammoth Cave National Park. At this stage in the planning process, the park is asking for your thoughts on initial components that will shape the plan. Information on the purpose and need for the plan, key issues that need to be addressed, proposed action, preliminary alternative concepts, and proposed updates to cave zones can be found in the briefing paper and public open house posters below.
