2006 01Jan 30 - Biological Assessment of the Interim Protected Species Management Strategy


The National Park Service has prepared this Biological Assessment pursuant to Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act in order to evaluate the potential effects of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Interim Protected Species Management Strategy preferred alternative on the federally threatened or endangered species that occur within the project area. This document was submitted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Ecological Services Division, Raleigh, NC in January 2006. The National Park Service anticipates that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will render a Biological Opinion on this document by mid-March 2006.
