Desert Queen Ranch Management Plan

Joshua Tree National Park is initiating the development of a management plan for the Desert Queen Ranch, a popular mining and homesteading cultural resource site in the park. The park will be providing the public with opportunities to help shape how the management plan develops and to become involved in the planning process. The park will be holding a public meeting at Copper Mountain College on Wednesday, June 8th at 6:30 pm. This is an opportunity for the public to comment on what they would like to see in continued park management of this significant cultural resource. If you are not able to attend the meeting in June, please feel free to send in your comments via this webpage, through email or through the USPS mail.
