The National Park Service (NPS) is pleased to announce the availability of the Muir Woods Water/Wastewater Service Rehabilitation Project Draft Environmental Assessment (Draft EA) for public review and comment. This document evaluates the rehabilitation of components of aging water and wastewater lines serving Muir Woods National Monument. This Draft EA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The public is also invited to provide comment on issues and concerns regarding cultural resources within the project area in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).

The National Park Service invites your review and comment on the document. The document can be downloaded below under "Document Content". All comments on the Draft EA will be reviewed and considered. From the public comments, NPS will identify substantive comments and provide responses, and modify the EA if appropriate.

The public comment period for the Draft EA will end on May 5th, 2017. Please see the main project page for additional information about the project. Written comments may also be mailed to:
