Lower Farmington River and Salmon Brook Wild and Scenic Management Plan, June 2011

The management plan is a guidance document developed by the locally-based Wild and Scenic Study committee with assistance from the National Park Service. It is the companion document to the study report/environmental assessment. The management plan is a non-regulatory, advisory document that provides a framework for protection and enhancement of the resources whether the rivers are designated as Wild and Scenic or not. Town citizens, local land use commissions and the state have endorsed this plan and have committed to participate in its implementation.

The text of the management plan is posted here and the maps and appendices can be found on the Lower Farmington River and Salmon Brook Study website at http://www.lowerfarmingtonriver.org/?page_id=188
