Workshop Cancellation--Elk Management Alternative Development Workshops

On February 10th, 2007, Theodore Roosevelt National Park announced that two alternative development workshops, scheduled for Medora ND on February 21st, and Bismarck ND, on February 22nd, have been cancelled. The workshops were in support of the park's Elk Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). Previously, The park had announced to the public a notice to conduct these workshops through media releases and the distibution of more than 400 workshop newsletters to citizens and public agencies interested in the park's elk management issues.
