Public Scoping Newsletter - August 2022


Between August 9 and September 9, 2022 you are invited to provide input and comment during the first of two opportunities to participate in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process.

The National Pak Service is seeking your feedback on preliminary alternatives that will be refined and further developed into a final plan and NEPA for public review this Fall 2022. Review the preliminary alternatives along with background information in the August 2022 public scoping newsletter.

We value public input at this early stage to help the National Park Service further refine the Glacier Bay marine stewardship model to better protect the park's extraordinary natural and cultural heritage and deliver diverse national park experiences aligned with founding park purposes.
