Concessionaire Housing Environmental Assessment
The Environmental Assessment evaluates two alternatives. Alternative A would not construct additional seasonal housing. Alternative B and preferred alternative would allow construction of up to 25 recreational vehicle (RV) sites and a bath house adjacent to the Yellowstone General Stores warehouse near the West Entrance. Additionally, an abandoned camper loop at the Canyon Campground would be redeveloped to include construction of a combination of up to 14 RV sites and 6 modular homes, and existing comfort stations rehabilitated to provide shower and laundry facilities for employees.
Public comments will be accepted from May 15 - June 14, 2019.
