Cell Phone Tower with Fiber-optic Connection - Scoping
The National Park Service (NPS) is considering the issuance of a right-of-way permit to Verizon Wireless to install a cellular telecommunications tower. The project will also require fiber optic connections so a separate right-of-way permit is being considered for South Central Communications. The NPS is required by the Telecommunications Act of 1996 to consider all applications for the installation of wireless communication facilities on NPS lands. We welcome your input!
