Staten Island Maintenance Facilities Relocation Project: Additional Proposed Site Locations, Public Comment Period and Open House
The National Park Service (NPS) will present new proposed site locations for the Staten Island Maintenance Facilities Relocation Project as part of a planning process to relocate maintenance operations damaged during Hurricane Sandy at Gateway National Recreation Area, Staten Island. The NPS identified the new proposed site locations based upon public input received during the initial September 22nd - October 22nd comment period.
The new proposed site locations will be available for public review and comment during a second public comment period from November 24th through December 24th. The ongoing participation of the public is very important to the success of this project. Please attend an Open House to learn more about the project, the new proposed site locations, ask questions and share your comments.
