Everglades National Park Fire Management Plan / Environmental Assessment
The National Park Service has completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) for an updated Fire Management Plan (FMP) at Everglades National Park. This action is needed to due to changes in federal fire management policies which have evolved since the last FMP EA was prepared in 1991 and the last FMP update in 1995. The proposed FMP supports National Park Service goals to restore fire's natural role in the ecosystem.
