This document is the NPS review of the reservation program for tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial. The report was completed in 2014 and has been used as a guide for improving how ticket reservations and distribution is done.

1. The Recreation.gov currently allows a limited number (approximately 300) tickets to be made available for 'next day' reservations for the USS Arizona Memorial program. Do you think that this number should be increased, decreased and why? |
2. The length of time between the present and the last opportunity to book a reservation is referred to as a 'booking window.' How long would the ideal booking window be for a visitors to Oahu? |
3. How long would the ideal booking window be for a permitted business entity (i.e. a transportation company) interested in reserving tickets for its clients? |
4. The National Park Service distributes all USS Arizona Memorial program tickets solely through the ticket and information counter at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Do you think that a reserved ticket should be available to print from a person's home or hotel rather than solely through the visitor center? |
