Public Scoping Document

The National Park Service (NPS) is proposing to replace Theodore Roosevelt National Park's North Unit Visitor Center (and associated administrative offices.) The visitor center had to be abandoned in 2013 due to significant and on-going structural issues. A temporary visitor contact station and office building were established to accomodate most visitor and administrative needs.

This Public Scoping Document provides details of project scoping and resources that may be impacted by the project in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) (42 United States Code [USC] 4321-4347). This document summarizes the analysis that has been completed thus far and the work being proposed.
