Preliminary Alternatives Summary of Public Comments

This document summarizes the public comments received on Devils Postpile NM's third newsletter that was published and distributed part of the ongoing general management planning process during the summer of 2011. The newsletter presented four preliminary alternatives being considered in the GMP and sought public comments on these initial ideas for further development.

All comments received have been reviewed and are being considered by the planning team as these alternatives are refined further, and a preferred alternative is identified. The revised set of alternatives, including identification of the preferred alternative, will be published in the upcoming Draft General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for further public review and comment.
