2012 Updates to the Plan

Based on further consultation between DDOT and NPS, as well as consultation with the District State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and staff from the National Capital Planning Commission and Commission of Fine Arts, the plans for Washington Circle have been further revised. The updates are to protect mature, character-defining trees, to accommodate pedestrian safety measures, and to achieve visual harmony.
